1. Who we are
Dabeer (the “App”) is developed and sold by Rustam Gulov, a sole proprietor based in the Republic of Tajikistan (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
2. Our reseller — Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
3. Editions
Dabeer Basic is free. Dabeer Pro is a paid edition sold as a one-time purchase of US$49 (applicable taxes are calculated at checkout). There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
4. Your Dabeer Pro license
- After payment you receive a license key by email. The license is perpetual: the version you bought keeps working without further payments.
- The license includes free updates for the current major version of Dabeer Pro (including all pre-1.0 releases). A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade; the version you already have remains yours.
- One license may be activated on up to two (2) Macs used by the same person. You can move a license to another Mac by deactivating it in the App’s settings.
- Activation requires a one-time internet connection. The App occasionally checks the license status online; working offline does not disable an activated license.
- You may use Dabeer Pro for personal and commercial work.
5. What you may not do
- Share, sell or publish your license key, or use it on more Macs than allowed.
- Circumvent, disable or modify the license check, or redistribute modified copies of the App.
- Reverse engineer the App, except where the law expressly permits it.
We may deactivate a license key that is publicly shared, used in breach of these Terms, refunded or charged back.
6. How the App works
Dabeer processes audio and text locally on your Mac. Speech recognition and AI models are downloaded to your computer from third-party hosts (for example Hugging Face) and are subject to their own licenses. Recognition and AI output can contain errors — review important text before you rely on it.
7. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not reduce the rights attached to a license you have already purchased.
